These "Bugs in a Box" are meant to be used in a teacher-student relationship.  They include lesson plans and activities for teachers to implement.  They are perfect for the classroom, group meeting, or homeschooling setting.  

  Scale Wings  $50

The objective of this "box" is to teach a general introduction to Lepidoptera:  butterflies and moths.  Students will learn the characteristics of Lepidoptera, their classification, and the differences between butterflies and moths.

  Six Legs, Four Wings, Two Antennae  $50

The objective of this "box" is to teach a general introduction to insects.  Students will learn the characteristics of insects, their classification, and their importance in our lives. 

  Water Lovers  $50

The objective of this "box"  is to teach a general introduction to aquatic insects.  Students will learn how to identify the basic groups of aquatic insects and how to gage general water quality based on the presence of these insects.  

*It is a marvelous introductory program for children who are scared of common insects.

  Insects Throughout History  $50

The objective of this "box" is to teach the roles insects have played in various cultures through history.  Students will learn about the Egyptians, Aztecs, and American Indians.  

  Bugs Go Hollywood  $100

 The objective of this "box" is to teach about insects through the use of books, movies, cartoons, toys, music, and dance.  Students will learn about the general characteristics of insects, classification, and their importance in our lives.  This is a multi-day unit study.
